 I had this unassuming salad at Casa Dani (nestled in Madrid's Mercado de La Paz) and immediately knew that I wanted to recreate it at home given it's simplicity and kick (and the quality of heirloom tomatoes that we have here in San Diego at the Little Italy Mercato)
