for when you need to empty the pantry

ingredients

process

spaghetti

olive oil
garlic
red chile (sliced)
anchovies
olives (pitted and quartered lengthwise)
capers
cherry tomatoes (halved)
italian parsley (chopped)
salt/pepper

Heat a pan on medium-low heat. Add olive oil. Add the garlic and chile to sweat. Once sweated, add the anchovies until disintegrated
Add the olives and capers and mix. Raise heat to medium and add the tomatoes. Tomatoes should blister. Occasionally push down on tomatoes to burst and continue to mix. Lower heat to simmer and continue to cook. Salt and pepper to taste
Bring water to boil in a sauce pan. Salt water and cook pasta according to instructions. Reserve pasta water prior to removing
Add pasta to sauce and mix, gradually adding bits of reserved pasta water. Garnish with parsley and serve.
